Halloween Pictures!!!!!

I told you I would put these up. I had to dress up for work and we had a Halloween Party (really it was a working
retreat) and a Baby Shower for Zikeya (I am doing her job too while she is on maternity leave.) This was a nice time to have all the Offices of Continuing Professional Education together: Prince William Campus (me), Fairfax Campus, and CIT Campus. There were about 19 people in attendance.

My Mom and step-dad, Phil, came to visit me about 3 weeks ago. Visiting Manassas was a pit-stop before going on vacation. Though they were only here 1 day, I was still VERY happy to see them and we had a good time. We walked around "Old Towne" Manassas for shopping, went to the Manassas Museum, and the Bull Run Battlefield.

Welcome to Manassas!

At the museum

awww...they are too cute!

Mom and Dad Roach visited from NY last weekend. We had a great time going into DC and just visiting with eachother. Kumar and their dog, Gracie, however, did not get along so well. I have some pictures from that 'meeting' as well.

This is a really good Halloween picture for Kumar. He was bugging out about Gracie.

Total attack mode...haha

Gracie is trying to figure out a way to get past Kumar.

Kumar got tired so Gracie went in to sniff.

And for some reason, my cat chews on his paws. Dont ask me why.

First stop, Lincoln Memorial

Washington Monument from the Lincoln Memorial

Jon and I from the L.M.

The man himself

Next stop, the Vietnam War Memorial

Stop #3, The WWII Memorial. This was my first time seeing this one, and it is absolutly stunning.

Stop #4, the Smithsoanian Castle. Even though we didn't go in, we did enjoy the Gardens before heading over to the Air & Space Museum (see below)

I made a trip up to NY July 21st - 23rd. Unfortunatly, lst minute, Jon was not able to go, but Kumar still got to go with me, and we had some adventures meeting people. Yes, i know i am obsesive about my cat, and yes, he is my "child"....and YES i know i am crazy!

Kumar's first LONG car ride tired him out.

Kumar meeting my mom's cat, Smokey for the first time. Apparently, Smokey did not want to play.

Ok, sorry, i've been busy. But i have a really WONDERFUL job at George Mason University. I'm working for the Office of Continuing Professional Education as a Program Coordinator. I only have to drive 8 minutes to get to work. Right now, i'm working on an Economic Developmetn Seminar that we are holding in September and coming up in January, Dr. Henry Lee will be doing a forensic science seminar! you can check out the website at www.ocpe.gmu.edu to see about both these events.

Kate, my brother's girlfriend, came down to visit. We went to a bunch of malls and to a couple Smithsonian museums. I also had my 25th birthday party with all my new friends down here.

So here are the pictures you've all been waiting for...........
